Kid Critic Review: 'Kung Fu Panda 2'
Metro Parent Kid Critic Cassidy of Ferndale reviews the new action-packed PG-rated Jack Black movie
I recently went to see Kung Fu Panda 2. I really liked this movie because it had a lot more action and told a heartfelt story.
Po, the "Dragon Warrior," is on a mission from Master Shifu to find inner peace and save Kung Fu while Shen the Peacock tries to overtake China. Po and his friends must go on a mission to help save China, and Po learns a lot about his life along the way. I will NOT tell you how the movie ends, but I WILL tell you that it is a good ending! I loved everything about the movie. The setting and graphics are amazingly beautiful and the movie is hilarious. The only thing I DIDN'T like about the movie was that part of Po's story was really sad.
It reminded me of the first Kung Fu Panda, which is really good – and should be, because Kung Fu Panda 2 is a sequel to a great film. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes comedies, action movies, animated movies and family movies. Or even animals doing Kung Fu. Actually, I recommend it to pretty much anyone! It is A LOT better than the first one, in my opinion. Try to avoid seeing it in 3D because it is the same movie for a higher price.
