BabbaBox Activity Themed Subscription for Kids

The pursuit for fantastic subscription-based craft projects continues! In this week's Make It, we're talking about BabbaBox, an activity-themed subscription created by Jessica Kim. The boxes are all about hands-on and learning something new. As BabbaBox says on its website, each month delivers TV-free mornings, sanity saving weeknight activities, purposeful weekend play and story time. I had the chance to take a look at a recent BabbaBox and I was definitely impressed.

From the get-go, BabbaBox has a variety of pricing plans for families, from a digital printables option at $6.99 a month to the premium box, complete with a brand-new book, for $29.99 a month. I'm sure the option to go digital-only is a welcome choice for many families looking to try a subscription service, but not sure about committing right from the beginning. There are options for gift subscriptions, too, which is a great birthday option for this aunt!

Our box was all about kitchen science. A colorful collection of project cards walks you through each activity.
The science tools were oversized for smaller hands (and pretty darn cute, too!).
Safety goggles? Check. Everything is there for a day full of experimenting.
This premium-based box came with the book What is the World Made Of? All About Solids, Liquids and Gases by Kathleen Weidner Zoehfeld, a perfect pairing for those younger crafters always asking "Why? How is this made?"

BabbaBox gets two-thumbs up from this grownup crafter. If you decide to sign up, make sure to follow along with their blog for additional project ideas and resources.
