Fiskars Fuse Creativity System Craft Project Ideas

Last week, I shared my thoughts on the new Fuse Creativity System from Fiskars. I’ve been putting the system to good use for parties and handmade gifts over the past few days. Here are a few ideas to consider if you’re thinking of purchasing this paper-crafting tool. For this week’s Make It, I focused on the scallop die and an additional set of expansion pack shapes available at most craft supply stores. All shapes were letter pressed and die cut.

Oversized Bookmarks

Using the pretty leaf pattern, this piece was added to a strong piece of kraft paper with duct tape on top to add stability. The scallop is attached with a piece of duct tape on the back. The scallop can pop out of the top of the book or be tucked just inside.

Lunch Bags with Love

You take the time each morning to make a tasty lunch – why not finish it off with a sweet decoration? A piece of tape is all you need to attach this darling doodad to a paper lunch bag. Fold the bag top over twice and staple shut before adding the flair.

Birthday Ribbons

Pair a scallop with a piece of pretty ribbon and a pin-back for that special someone on their birthday. You can also add it to a party hat or on top of a gift.

Special Sipping Straw

With your duct tape in hand, add a small piece around a paper straw to attach your favorite letterpress design.
