Craft Roundup: Muppets Most Wanted Inspired DIY Fun

These cool DIY projects are a blast for kids and families to make, all celebrating Disney's latest movie spin on the classic Muppet gang

It's been almost a month since Muppets Most Wanted premiered in theaters, but I know families who are still going to see it – some for the second or third time! If your crew has seen the new film countless times or simply loves anything dealing with the Muppets, this week's roundup is for you. Muppet-themed crafting has always been popular, but there's a great selection online these days to celebrate the latest Muppet flick. Make sure to check out the official Muppets Most Wanted movie website for games and downloads, too!

Free Printables: Muppets Most Wanted

I've seen several bloggers share the Disney-official activity sheets, ranging from coloring pages to cutout postcards. Check out Tonya Staab's post for a list of free printables your Muppet fans will be sure to enjoy.

Animal's Music-Making Bracelet

Disney's Spoonful website, a great resource for Disney-themed DIY, shares this project by Suzan Jackson and Alcestis Llobrera that's part crafty and definitely music-making.

Cardboard Tube Beaker

Crafts by Amanda has several Muppet craft projects, and cardboard-tube Beaker is my favorite. A great way to recycle and an even better reason for your children to yell, "MEEP! MEEP!"

Jim Henson's 1969 Guide to How to Make a Muppet

Shared a few years back on The Atlantic, this 1969 video is of Jim Henson teaching viewers how to make their own Muppets. This Iowa Public Television clip is fun to watch, especially for the Muppet superfans out there, and will hopefully inspire your children to make their own stupendous creations.
