It's Earth Day and the perfect chance to introduce your kids to a green lifestyle through a variety of activities – from crafting fun to nature clean ups to demos. Metro Parent has rounded up some local Earth-friendly fun for you and your family this year – before and after the big day.

Earth Day Shakers Craft at Pewabic Pottery

These fun-with-clay workshops happen monthly at this local art spot. This month, kids ages 4-16 will create Earth Day shakers. Register in advance to secure a spot for this workshop.
