Earth Day Celebration at the Farmington Hills Nature Center

Enjoy guided excursions (geocaching), learning about animals in Heritage Park, a face painter and a Native American story teller by campfire. Peace, Love & Planet leads a few activities, as well, plus catch exhibits by local orgs, including a composting demonstration. For a fee, grab a grilled cheese sandwich and different snacks and fruits. Kids also make their own newspaper pots. After, there's an adult-geared Earth Day party at the Longacre House focusing on local environmental policymakers.
