'The Little Mermaid' and 'The Little Mermaid Jr.' Performances

Four metro Detroit theaters offer you the chance to go 'Under the Sea' in April and May, 2013, in this classic Disney musical

Throughout April and May, local community theaters bring Ariel and friends to life in this "tail" of a young mermaid longing for legs and a life on land with a human prince.

Ariel rebels against life as a mermaid. Desperate for a chance to live on land, and "hook up" with Prince Eric, she strikes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula. Relinquishing her voice in exchange for legs, and a chance for Prince Eric's heart, she must secure the prince's true love kiss or risk her father's underwater kingdom.

With an Academy award-winning musical score featuring the award-winning "Under the Sea," as well as "Part of Your World" and "She's in Love," you'll fall in love with Ariel and her loyal friends – played by talented local actors, in your very own home town. Check out this list of The Little Mermaid or The Little Mermaid Jr. productions – compliments of southeast Michigan theaters.
