Looking for assistance, support and resources for your deaf or hard of hearing family or child? Check out this list of local organizations.

Teresa Sundberg of Southfield is not only hard of hearing herself and the mother of a profoundly deaf son, Rolan; she's a long-time educator for the deaf and hard of hearing. Currently she serves as the president of the Michigan Chapter of the Alexander Graham (A.G.) Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

"I'd like for parents of a child with hearing loss to know that they are not alone and that there are professionals and parents ready to support them and help them," she says.
