On Aug. 27, 2011, the Oakland County Farmers Market hosts one full Saturday of free family fun, from great food to yoga

The Healthy Oakland Partnership is hosting a Family Market Day at the Oakland County's Farmers' Market in Waterford on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011. This free event promotes healthy eating and exercise for parents and kids alike.

Highlights include free kids' activities, yoga, blood pressure screenings and the chance to win prizes. There will also be coupons for local produce available to families who receive food assistance.
