Woodward Dream Cruise

Southeast Michigan car lovers unite Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011 (and earlier!) for this annual family fun event that spans eight Oakland County cities.

Vroom, vroom! Rev your engines for another year of the Woodward Dream Cruise. This free annual event for car lovers is the place for families to be on Saturday, Aug. 20 from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Young and old can take part in the fun, which travels from Ferndale to Pontiac.

Calling all kids: Ferndale is hosting a Kids Play Zone to keep the little ones entertained while mom and dad check out the cruisin' cars. Pontiac has special Kiddie Land area, located on Water and Mill streets – suitable for ages 2 to 12, and Pioneer Park in Royal Oak boasts a Family Fun Zone. To top it all off – there's tons of live music, car-related merchandise and, of course, autos galore!

See the Metro Parent listing for more on the Woodward Dream Cruise.
