Armada Fair at the Armada Fairgrounds

This Macomb County classic is packed with fun for the family! Catch the action during its 141st year Aug. 12-18, 2013

For 140 years, the Armada Fair has attracted families with tons of activities, performances and more. And year 141 is no different – this "true country fair" hits town Aug. 12-18, 2013, and features a midway, truck and tractor pulls, a demolition derby and a free concert with country singer Kellie Pickler.

There's lots of fun for little ones, too, including a midway with rides for all ages and the "Animal Oasis" petting farm, exotic animals, bird encounter and camel rides – starting at 8 a.m. daily.

Do you and your kids love cars? Why not head out to the bump and run race or demolition derby? All of the following events are located in the main arena; the schedule is as follows:

  • Monday: Michigan Monster Truck Shootout at 7 p.m.
  • Tuesday: Bump & Run Race at 7 p.m.
  • Wednesday: Demolition Derby at 7 p.m.
  • Thursday: Figure 8 Race at 7 p.m.
  • Saturday: Truck & Tractor Pulls at noon and 6 p.m.
  • Sunday: Truck & Tractor Pull at noon

Catch a great concert for free! Kellie Pickler performs at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. In-field armbands are available for purchase for $10.

Do you parents need a night out? Hit the refreshment tent for an ice-cold drink and live music entertainment. The refreshment tent opens daily at noon.

Admission is $8 for ages 13 and up and $2 for ages 9-12. Kids 8 and under get in free – and if you plan to hit the grandstands for the concert, demolition derby and other events, admission is free. Daily parking is $5.
