Warren Birthday Bash

This Macomb County city turns 57 and families can celebrate Aug. 21-24, 2014 with movies, carnivals, concerts and more!

The city of Warren turns 57 this year, so help blow out the candles and get the party started at the Warren Birthday Bash, Aug. 21-24, 2014. The city hosts tons of fun festivities and entertainment all weekend long.

There may not be cake and ice cream, but there will definitely be a carnival, food and tons of fun. Each day of the festival brings something different, so head out to the annual bash and make some family birthday memories.

Come Thursday for a showing of the ever-popular film, Frozen, playing on the outdoor movie screen at dusk, as well as a fun kid zone area for your little ones to enjoy while you wait for the movie to begin. Friday only brings more fun as the petting zoo arrives with pig races and camel rides. Also, stick around for some live entertainment throughout the evening and a big fireworks display at night!

Join the bash Saturday for a bird trailer, exotic animal exhibit, laser light show and circus. Then, wrap up the event by coming back Sunday for more carnival rides, great food and family fun!

Festival times are as follows:

  • Thursday: 4-10 p.m.
  • Friday: 4-11 p.m. (fireworks around dusk)
  • Saturday: noon-11 p.m.
  • Sunday: noon-10 p.m.

See the Metro Parent listing for more on the 2014 Warren Birthday Bash at Warren City Square.
