L is for Laser Exhibit at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum

This interactive temporary exhibit combines lasers, movement and music at the Tree Town museum July 14-Aug. 24, 2014.

What's not to love about a retro combination of lasers, movement, art, letters and music? The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum's interactive exhibit L is for Laser features it all, and you can experience it July 14-Aug. 24, 2014.

Families can head to this Tree Town museum to interact with its special summer exhibit. It is patterns and lights galore thanks to laser artist Mike Gould, whose work is part of the cool display, also featuring the alphabet. Does your kid like to move? Gould's work actually moves with your movement and is set to the sounds of musician Ken Kozora.

Find the exhibit in the museum's ScienceWorks lab from noon until 3 p.m. daily through Aug. 24 only. L is for Laser is free with general admission, which is $11/ages 2-plus, $5 after 5 p.m. on Thursdays, free/babies 0-23 months.

The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum houses tons of activities and exhibits to explore, and notes on its website they have "more than 250 interactive exhibits, each with a different focus to bring physics, geology, math, music and more to life."
