100th Anniversary Celebration at the Detroit Zoo

The Detroit Zoo is hosting a public celebration to observe the 100th year of the Detroit Zoological Society. There will be polar bear crafts at the Arctic Ring of Life, games at the National Amphibian Conservation Center, tattoos at the Holden Museum of Living Reptiles and animal enrichment activities at all three habitats. Visitors can test their knowledge of the Detroit Zoo with a scavenger hunt, including a quiz with questions about the three habitats.  Scavenger hunt prizes can be redeemed at the Ford Education Center Plaza, where visitors can enjoy a sweet anniversary treat and celebrate with the Detroit Zoo's mascots, Junior Z and the Zooper Heroes

Cost Free with zoo admission: $12/ages 15-61, $8/ages 2-14, Free/under age 2
