Dragon’s blood, books, chivalry and love – it’s all in the mix at the Day of Books and Roses festival at the Ferndale Public Library. Friends of the Ferndale Library and The Society of Sant Jordi invite the public to enjoy an afternoon of cultural festivities – meet Michigan authors, buy books, sample great wines from Elie Wine of Royal Oak, give a rose to someone special, experience live music and poetry readings and more. Taste delicious international foods and beverages. There will be art activities and other fun things for the young and young at heart. It’s a spring fiesta for everyone and a great way to support the Ferndale Public Library.
