At this 17th annual event, the entire family can view the planets and stars through powerful telescopes; then join in the discussion about outer space with members of the Great Lakes Association Astronomy Clubs (GLAAC).
Lots of kids activities in store: Watch a "comet" being made from dry ice and common household ingredients, become the constellations in the Rescue of Andromeda "impromptu play," and visit the Michigan Science Center's portable planetarium for tours (every 20 minutes) of constellations and current evening sky.
