Clawson Fourth of July Celebration (July 4)

Description

Clawson brings back its annual Independence Day event, complete with tons of patritoic family fun. Here's what's going on this Fourth of July (click here for event lead-up events, happening June 26-July 3):

  • 7-11 a.m.: Herb Glenn Memorial Pancake Breakfast (Clawson United Methodist Church)
  • 7:45-9 a.m.: Firecracker Mile (Clawson Shopping Center)
  • 8:45 a.m.: Flag-raising ceremony (Gazebo by Library)
  • 9 a.m.: Parade (steps off at Clawson Shopping Center
  • 10 a.m.-6 p.m.: Arts and crafts fair
  • 10 a.m.-10 p.m.: Midway area open ($2/entry, fee/ride tickets)
  • 11 a.m.-7 p.m.: Midway area offers free attractions
  • Noon: Boys baseball all-star games
  • 1 p.m.: Water Battle (Clawson and Troy fire departments)
  • 2 p.m.: Boys baseball all-star games
  • 2 p.m.: Mother-daughter softball games
  • 2-4 p.m.: Old-time games
  • 7 p.m.: Clawson Beautiful Baby Contest winners announced
  • 10 p.m.: Fireworks
