Clear Channel Radio and the Salvation Army are, once again, pairing up for the 31st Annual Coats for Kids Charity Clothing Drive at the Michigan Science Center from. Beginning Oct. 1 and running through Nov. 2, WJLB and the Salvation Army combine forces to collect donations for children in need in metro Detroit to ensure they have a warm winter season. This event raises funds with the traditional phone bank and live broadcast stage. Admission to Mi-Sci will be free, but listeners are encouraged to make a cash donation. Just $25 allows the Salvation Army to buy a warm winter coat for a deserving child.
