Families can explore giant, extinct creatures in Dinosaurs: The Lost World, a special exhibit at Cranbrook Institute of Science that goes from July 12, 2013 through June 29, 2013. Learn about 50 prehistoric species from the late Cretaceous period, see 60 complete skeletal mounts and check out a 36-foot-long molded track featuring some impressive dino footprints. There's also an excavation site for kids and special events throughout the course of the exhibit's year-long run.
