Presenting the Midwest’s largest collection of gems, minerals and fossils under one roof, in a family friendly showcase. Over 36 exhibits in “museum row” displaying collections from internationally renowned universities and museums, including: The Smithsonian Institute, The Cranbrook Institute of Science, and The Royal Ontario Museum and The Carnegie Institute. The Masterpiece this year comes from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum, which is the Official Mineral Museum of the state of Michigan. This display includes some of the largest copper crystals in the world plus an entire pocket of copper crystals found in its original natural environment. |
