| Description |
Visitors to the Birmingham Historical Museum & Park will once again be able to step into the past during the Annual Holiday Model Train & Antique Toy Exhibit. This year, the popular model train display will feature “Birmingham in the 19th Century,” with steam engines on three tracks in a setting that includes backdrops of Birmingham’s downtown and residential buildings of the period. Besides the fascinating train exhibit, the museum will be displaying dozens of vintage 1950s and 1960s Tonka trucks from the collection of Birmingham City Commissioner Stuart Sherman. The collectible vehicles include a range of construction machinery, farm vehicles, and a pristine 1957 aerial extension ladder fire engine. |
