Lamaze Childbirth Preparation Series at U o f M Von Voightlander Women's Hospital in Ann Arbor

Premier, comprehensive childbirth class designed for pregnant women and their partners. This in-depth, interactive 12-hour series meets on weekday nights at three different locations throughout Ann Arbor. The series covers a wide range of topics in-depth based on Lamaze International's Six Healthy Birth Practices, including:

• The various stages of labor, birth, and early postpartum including early breastfeeding overview
• Relaxation and breathing techniques, comfort measures and positions for labor and delivery
• Partner's role with laboring mom
• Pain management options and birth interventions, hospital procedures, and Cesarean birth.
• Class fee includes a free breastfeeding class.

This class is weekly on Tuesday, Feb. 12, Feb. 19, Feb. 26 and March 5.
