Slow down a little and gather around the table to enjoy a meal with your junior chef. In just a few hours, your child will prepare a three-course meal you get to come back and enjoy. No shopping, no chopping, no cleanup for you (and they wait on you, too!). Kids learn about kitchen safety, favorite foods, family pets and other important things while cooking. Any leftovers are packed up (feel free to bring a container) and sent home with you with a recipe packet.
Menu includes spinach and hearts of palm salad with homemade balsamic vinaigrette, fettucine with three-herb pesto and broiled shrimp and chocolate gelato. Classes are for children ages 10 and up and are three hours long, with the last half hour designated for eating.
