| Description |
NXT Challenges are studio-based classes for students who are already familiar with programming the four NXT sensors and ready to explore new robotic challenges. Students will receive a list of specific building and programming challenges on the first day of class. This list will be customized to each individual so that learning will continue in fun, challenging and level-appropriate ways. The Robot Garage faculty will work with each student to grasp new concepts, apply lessons learned and problem-solve independently. The group setting of this studio encourages more experienced students to mentor and inspire less experienced students with a strong emphasis on respect. NXT Fundamentals (or an understanding of the four sensors and how they are programmed) is a pre-requisite for this class. For grades 4-8. Call or e-mail for registration information. |
