Native American Heritage Day at Nankin Mills Interpretive Center in Westland

The North American Indian Association hosts a special social gathering on the grounds of Nankin Mills to share its culture and heritage. A drumming circle leads the dancers in beautiful regalia through the ceremony.

Native American artisans demonstrate, display and sell their crafts. Food also is available for purchase. Bring the whole family to share in this celebration of America's first people. Bring your own lawn chair and umbrella for shade, as seating is limited. Outdoor event; all ages welcome. Co-sponsored by the Friends of Nankin Mills.
