The Chamber Music Society of Detroit presents a free family concert with Piffaro, the nation’s finest Renaissance wind band. Piffaro’s ever-expanding instrumentation includes shawms, sackbuts, recorders, krumhorns, bagpipes, lutes, guitars, harps, and a variety of percussion — all careful reconstructions of instruments from the period. |
