Point of View: African American Masters Exhibit the Wright Museum in Detroit

The expansive African-American and African-Diaspora art collection of Elliot and Kimberly Perry comes to life in this exhibit. The Wright features works by modern masters including Henry Ossawa Tanner, Eldzier Cortor, Elizabeth Catlett, James Van Der Zee and many others. Explore the amazing works of talented black artists.

Museum hours are as follows:

  • Mondays: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (Jan. 20 and Feb. 3, 10, 17 and 24 only; otherwise closed Mondays)
  • Tuesdays-Saturdays: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Sundays: 1-5 p.m.

Cost Free with museum admission: $8/ages 13-61, $5/ ages 3-12, free/under 3
