Located in Grosse Pointe Woods, Liggett Summer Programs offer a variety of fun and exciting Day, Sports and Academic camps throughout the summer. Kids of all ages will enjoy unique camp experiences – making friends and memories that will last a lifetime.

The 2014 Liggett Summer Programs include:

Day Camp: Liggett’s Day Camp has been the standard of summer fun for generations. And it’s no wonder! With traditional camp activities like archery, arts and crafts, swimming, sports, performing arts, science and nature, campers enjoy a daily variety of exciting things to do that keep them active and engaged all day. We’re also offering special theme weeks such as Island Adventure, Let The Party Begin and more, where campers can dress in costumes and do themed activities in addition to their regular daily fun.

Sports Camps: Our sports camps are coordinated by experienced Liggett coaches and the focus is on expert instruction and skill development. Your sports star will have an opportunity to develop and improve skills, learn and execute challenging drills, develop an understanding of strategies and engage in games and contests using the skills learned in practice during the week.

Outdoor Adventure Camp: Campers come together for a week of fun, friendship and outdoor challenges in this leadership-based program that includes camping, canoeing, hiking, camp-fire skills, sports, swimming, ropes courses, teambuilding, interactive games, special events and more. Campers will enjoy unique and challenging experiences in a supportive and nurturing environment. They put their new-found skills to the test during an overnight canoe and camping trip at the end of the week.

Academic Academy: Students will jumpstart the new academic year – and shake off those summer cobwebs – with these fun and informative academic courses designed to help students refresh their minds so they can hit the ground running once school starts.

Major League All-Sports Camp: If you love sports, and want to play them all day long, then this is the camp for you! Designed for the real sports enthusiast, Major League Camp (MLC) is a one-week camp offering participants an opportunity to play two different sports each day – practicing drills and skills and engaging in sport-specific games and activities.
