Kids Camps

Roeper Summer Programs offers various summer programs including the traditional Day Camp, Summer Theatre or Dance Specialty camps.

At the Roeper Summer Day Camp, we offer a rich array of ever-changing activities that makes each day new and exciting. Our program gives campers the opportunity to choose what they want to do, allowing them to develop their own interests and inspiration. Our campers build close relationships with our experienced counselors who enjoy helping children discover themselves and their own abilities. Campers participate in activities such as swimming, art, dance, outdoor adventure, crafts, field games, drama, pottery, digital photography, science, music and computers. Each week there is a different theme and special events. A hot lunch is provided daily and before and after care is available. Sign up for one or all of the four, two-week sessions held at the Roeper Lower School in Bloomfield Hills.

Actors, singers and dancers have a lot of fun at Roeper Summer Stock Theatre. This program will be both challenging and fun for any level of theatre interest. The two-week long sessions for campers entering grades 1-6 are designed to build a solid foundation of theatre basics. The four-week long session for students entering grades 6-12 allows more time for developing specific skills in each discipline. The session culminates in a performance for family and friends. Due to construction at The Roeper School, the Theatre camp will be held at Seaholm High School in Birmingham this summer.

The Roeper Summer Dance is designed to engage campers with a passion for dance in a challenging, creative and fun summer dance experience. Each one-week camp provides dancers with a solid foundation in ballet and modern dance technique. This summer the Dance Camp will be held at the Roeper Lower School in Bloomfield Hills.
