Kids Camps

At YMCA Camp kids discover new skills, make friends, gain confidence, and develop independence and leadership skills in a caring, supportive community. Campers try a wide range of activities, learning about their interests while developing new skills and talents, under the careful guidance of responsible Y staff. Offering Day and Overnight, Ranch, Teen Leadership and Family Camps for boys and girls ages 5-17, Nissokone and Ohiyesa have been favorites for generations.

Camp Ohiyesa, conveniently located in Holly just minutes from US-23 and M-59, has a country setting on Fish Lake perfect for Day, Overnight or Family Camp. The 100-foot "Wet Willie" waterslide, ranch program, giant swing, canoes and inflatable bounce village add to the wide variety of activities. Specialties like CSI, Camp's Top Chef, Robotics, Air and Space, and Survivor create an experience to remember. Bus transportation and financial assistance available.

Camp Nissokone is our northern adventure camp, located on Lake Van Etten in Oscoda. The perfect place to learn sailing, kayaking, fencing, water skiing and wakeboarding. Other favorites include: paintball, horseback riding, high ropes course and zip line. Offering outstanding Ranch Camp and Teen Leadership programs for specialized experiences. Bus transportation available from Livonia and Birmingham. Financial assistance available.

Family Camps offered Memorial Day, July 4 and Labor Day weekends.
