Calhoun County is home to "One of the Top 25 Best Small Zoo's" in the nation. Guests can feed a giraffe at Binder Park Zoo's Wild Africa. Also, Full Blast is Battle Creek's own indoor/outdoor waterpark, located directly across the street from the Kellogg Arena.
Critchlow Alligator Sanctuary:
Critchlow Alligator Sanctuary is located in Athens, Mich. and contains a variety of animals to see and touch. All alligators, reptiles and amphibians in the Sanctuary were rescued from previous owners, police departments, animal control and other zoos or institutions throughout the Midwest.

Visit historic Marshall, a picturesque community with a large Natural Historic Landmark District, a number of museums and antique shops. Calhoun County was the birthplace of breakfast cereal and peanut butter, and is also where Sojourner Truth decided to live after becoming a free woman.
