Who doesn't love Feb. 14? Dads and moms are escorting their sweethearts to dances. Libraries are hosting shindigs for young kids – and a couple Un-Valentine's Day celebrations for the tween and teen crowd (black duct-tape flowers, anyone?). Frankly, family fun is in bloom all around in Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties. And, since we heart you, Metro Parent has you covered. Check out these awesome events happening during the month of love (they're listed by start date – and remember, many require advance registration, so be sure to sign up early!).
