A DJ, photos, prizes and light refreshments are all part of the festivities. There's a balloon drop, too. Be sure to register ASAP – this event sells out each year and there are no sales at the door.

Parents are welcome to bring their little ones – ages 6 months to 3 years – to this Ann Arbor spot to make a holiday craft, read a Valentine's Day book, sing, dance and much more. There will also be a Valentine-themed snack for the kiddies.

Girls – ages 12 and under – along with their dads will experience the Wild, Wild West (that's this year's theme!) during this event, presented by the Dearborn Recreation & Parks Department. Girls get a keepsake to take home – plus you'll enjoy music, pizza, cupcakes and more.

These look like fun events! As parents we have to remember that children not only love Valentine's day gifts but they also love Valentine's Day activities with the family, which give them memories to cherish forever!
