Crafting, finger play, painting, stories and a surprise sweet treat are all part of the fun. Be sure to register for this event (payable the day of), although drop-ins are welcome – provided space is available. Classes run in half hour intervals and welcome eight kids at a time.

Moms, leave dad at home and take your son out for a special evening you'll both enjoy, at the mother son dance hosted by the Howell Area Parks and Recreation. The following night dads and daughters get their quality time together at the daddy daughter dance. The price includes cookies and punch, plus a keepsake. But if you want to take a professional photo or grab dinner, there's an extra charge. Register by Feb. 1.

Dinner, dancing, open bar, 50/50 raffle, door prizes and a silent auction are all part of the fun. Proceeds raised benefit children and families affected by autism in Macomb County.
