The Wizard of Oz at the Novi Civic Center
Follow the yellow brick road! The Novi Civic Center Theatre treats you to a stage production of this classic tale, March 1-10, 2013
Join Dorothy, her little back dog Toto and her unlikely new friends as they travel through the weird and wonderful world of Oz in the Novi Civic Theatre's stage production of The Wizard of Oz, hitting the Novi Civic Center, March 1-10.
When Dorothy and Toto land in Oz, killing the Wicked Witch of the East in the process, they are celebrated as heroes – but Dorothy just wants to go home. The Good Witch of the North, Glinda, advises Dorothy to follow the yellow brick road to the Wizard of Oz, and he will help her get back to her home in Kansas.
But hold on, the Wicked Witch of the West has other plans – and revenge for her sister's death tops the list! She is determined to stop Dorothy from reaching the Wizard of Oz – and home.
Fortunately, Dorothy makes some friends along the way, each searching for something. The Cowardly Lion seeks courage; the Scarecrow wants a brain and the Tin Man laments, "If I only had a heart." This motley crew bands together, determined to make it to Oz, only to find out that they must face their fears before their wishes can be granted.
