Detroit Tigers Kids Convention at the Fox Theatre

The Tigers team up with Radio Disney Jan. 21, 2012 for this first-time stage show in Detroit, which includes players, crowd participation and more

Baseball in January? It's a game-winning combination at the first-ever Detroit Tigers Kids Convention on Saturday, Jan. 21! Families and Detroit baseball enthusiasts are in for a treat when the home team hit the stage at the Fox Theatre.

Bring your cameras to catch Tigers players – including Brennan Boesch, Ramon Santiago and Jose Valverde, to name a few – on stage answering audience questions, playing games and more. And Radio Disney will be spinning the latest tunes for the crowd.

Kids ages 14 and under will receive a PAWS Countdown to Opening Day poster, and, if they're interested, they can get their faces painted, too!

This first-time event will also feature some mascot friends from Little Caesars, Belle Tire and the Toledo Mud Hens. Please note that appearances by mascots and players are subject to change.

Adults can purchase tickets for $10, while kids ages 14 and under can snag their tickets for $5. Doors open at 10 a.m. and the show begins at 11 a.m.

See the Metro Parent listing for more on the Detroit Tigers Kids Convention at the Fox Theatre.
