Metro Parent July 2012 Cover Outtakes

Rub-a-dub-dub: Who's that cute CoverKid ready for the tub? Bath time was a focus of our summer issue. See the behind-the-scenes pix of this tyke.

Summertime means plenty of outdoor fun for kids – which also means coaxing those dirt-covered squirts into the tub! We covered this topic in Metro Parent's July 2012 edition, and our darling CoverKid, Emma, 24 months, of Garden City, set the tone in a little white terrycloth bathrobe, rubber ducky in hand. This issue also highlighted our 2012 Mom-Approved Docs, gave great tips on building a lemonade stand, featured fun Midwest "island" getaways, wrapped up our "Loss" series – and, as always, highlighted the best family fun summer activities in southeast Michigan.
