Oakland County Fair in Davisburg

Keep your family entertained for 11 days at this annual fest, which hits the Oakland County Fairgrounds July 4-14, 2013

For 11 full days, the Oakland County Fair entertains families with carnival rides, musical entertainment, demos, contests and more. The annual fest hits the Oakland County Fairgrounds in Davisburg, July 4-14, 2013.

The fun kicks off with an Independence Day parade on at 10 a.m. on Thursday. There's also a sand volleyball tournament, a chance to check out the Miracle of Birth exhibit – and fireworks, which take place at the grandstand area.

For the tykes that love carnival rides, the Playworld Carnival offers ride-all-day wristbands for $20. Head to the fair on Wednesday for Kids Day! There will be games and prizes at the Meijer Pavilion, an egg and water balloon toss and many more special activities for the kiddos.

Grab your bottomless cup of chocolate milk for only 50 cents – any day of the fest. Save your cup and volunteers will continue pouring you delicious chocolate milk.

There will also be an off-road derby, a figure eight race, rodeos, a demolition derby and much more. Plus, listen to some great tunes at 7 p.m. on Monday when Nashville in the Neighborhood hits the grandstand. 

Prices for the carnival range from $10 to $20. Admission to the grandstand is $10 for adults, $5 for ages 6-14 and free for ages 5 and under. Additional costs are $10 for parking cars, $5 for motorcycles and $5 for walk-ins.
