Jugglers, tunes and animal shows are among the just-for-kids lures at this year's Sterlingfest Art and Music Fair. The family festivities unfurl July 26-28, 2012 at the City Center and Dodge Park in Sterling Heights. As always, admission is free – and the hours of the fair are 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Watch for top-notch jazz music performed at three locations: the Jazz and Blues Stage, Suds 'n' Sounds Stage, and Sterlingfest Main Stage. A total of nine bands are set to perform, all of them having ties to Sterling Heights. Scheduled bands include: After 5 Jazz Ensemble, Brazil and Beyond, Chill EX Nightline and the Groove Council.
In addition to music, Sterlingfest spotlights the art works of hundreds of artisans, food from a dozen local restaurants, snacks from several food vendors and "The Family Midway," featuring rides and games of skill.
