Sterlingfest Art & Music Fair in Sterling Heights

Listen to awesome music, indulge in delicious eats at Restaurant Row and hit the midway at this Macomb County family favorite July 25-27, 2013

Good tunes, great food, Kidzfest and a family midway will send you running to the 33rd Annual Sterlingfest Art & Music Fair. This year's blowout happens July 25-27, 2013 at Sterling Heights' city center campus.

You won't want to miss the 2013 installment of the fair that's earned the Detroit News' "Michigan's Best Summer Festival" title. Here's a taste of what's in store.

The family-friendly midway returns! Pick up ride-all-day tickets for $20 for the 10th straight year – a solid deal. Speaking of which, new this time around is the Thursday Family Day: You can buy a family pass for $50, good for up to four people (that's just $12.50 per person!).

Don't miss out on the tribute bands (The Rolling Stones, Van Halen and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers) performing at the Dodge Park Bandshell Stage. Live music is featured on the Concentra Jazz & Blues Stage and The Sterling Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce & Industry's (SHRCCI) Suds 'n' Sounds Stages, too.

You and the kids will love browsing and shopping at the arts and crafts show, nestled in what organizers call a "street fair-like setting." Enjoy the live tunes from the jazz and blues stage in the background as you stroll through it.

Then, grab a bite at the Sterlingfest Restaurant Row. There is something for everyone: Find food from 12 local restaurants, as well as many food vendors.

Admission to the festival is free, and the cost for the SHRCCI Suds 'n' Sounds tent is $2 after 6 p.m. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
