Ann Arbor Summer Festival

Ann Arbor continues to live up to its reputation for innovative, out-there art and culture at this 30th annual event, June 14-July 7, 2013

Experience 21 nights of fun for kids at the Ann Arbor Summer Festival, which runs June 14- July 7, 2013! This Tree Town event turns 30 this year and features fun for both young and old with a variety of indoor and outdoor concerts, activities and more.

The possibilities for fun are endless with an abundance of kid-friendly activities including the KidZone Masterpiece Face Painters, Critter House and hands-on art exhibits.

June 28-30, swoop in for "Superhero," where projections make it possible for kids to throw balls of light, grow to immense size and even fly! If your child prefers a more hands-on experience, check out Tangle, a huge elastic-weaving event that takes place at the Top of the Park June 19-23. There is a $5 admission price for Tangle.

Catch cool kid shows, too, like mom-rockers Candy Band and The Goonies on the big screen (both June 23). Create beautiful chaotic art in the streets with other families – and let the fun begin!

Ingalls Mall, Power Center and Hill Auditorium are among event venues. Events are individually priced. Costs vary, as well, but ticket packages, discounts and free events are available.

See the Metro Parent listing for more on the 2013 Ann Arbor Summer Festival.
