Berkley Art Bash

Head to downtown Berkley with the family for some unique shopping and good food on June 8, 2013

If you've got art lovers in your family, bring them down to the 12th Annual Berkley Art Bash on June 8, 2013. This one-day event runs from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. in downtown Berkley.

Berkley Art Bash features over 100 artists that line 12 Mile Road from Wakefield Road to Tyler Avenue. Some of the artists this year are Cellar Door Soap Co., The Dainty Flower and Happy Shiny Gifts. Not to mention your kids can check out other students' art – student artists will be selling their handmade pieces, too.

Check out the food trucks that are new this year's event. Never grabbed grub from a food truck? Now is your chance. Featured trucks are Big R BQ, Jacques' Tacos, Treat Dreams and Dago Joe's. Take a break from browsing the art tents and grab some gourmet Italian food, a yummy taco or a sweet treat!

There will be a kids craft area, a bounce house and a large inflatable slide. Let your kids get their face painted or get an airbrush tattoo. There will be a fire truck and an ambulance on hand for the kiddos to take a tour, too.

Listen to some good tunes while your shopping. There will be live music all day! This year's artists are Maggie McCabe, Mike Vial and Shelia Landis. Or stop over to see a cute dance number from Linda's Dance Works from 3 until 3:30 p.m.

Admission to the Berkley Art Bash is free.
