Best Disc Golf Courses in Southeast Michigan

This outdoor sport is fun for the whole family. Check out nine cool courses you can enjoy in 2013 in Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties.

Surprise your kids with a new, fun summer activity – and head to one of these local parks to try disc golfing as a family. Disc golf is similar to regular golf, but rather than using golf clubs and aiming for a hole, players use small Frisbees and try to throw them into baskets. Disc golf is perfect for families: It is generally free, and most courses are open daily from dawn 'til dusk.

These courses are great for the experienced DG player – and perfect for those just starting out, too. Grab a few discs and head to your local course for a day of fun with the whole family! (Not too mention, most parks have playgrounds, walking trails and other family-friendly amenities.)
