Art on the Grand in Downtown Farmington

Come out to this downtown area for kid-friendly art activities, music and over 100 artists, June 1-2, 2013

Gather up your tiny artists and head to Art on the Grand in downtown Farmington for activities for all ages, June 1-2, 2013.

Art on the Grand features over 100 artists from all over the country – including photography, pottery, paintings and much more.

Concerts will be performed along Grand River Avenue and in the Riley Pavilion. Perfomers represent 15 different countries – and Midwest Highland Dancers, Companeros de Flamenco and Habibi Dancers are just a few of the music entertainment acts that will wow the crowds this weekend.

Children's hand-on activities will be offered in Riley Park. Face painters will be on hand to give your child the ability get creative with choosing their design.

Mom and dad need a break sometimes; head out to Grapes on the Grand wine and beer tent for a relaxing time for those over 21 years of age. The tent will be open during festival hours on Saturday and Sunday.

Art on the Grand has been a tradition for 13 years in Farmington! In the last four years, it has doubled in size and relocated onto Grand River Avenue – allowing for more exciting artists to show their work.

Admission to Art on the Grand is free. Event times are as follows:

  • Saturday: 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
  • Sunday: 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
