Turtle Island at PuppetART in Detroit
This Native American legend about two brothers is told through puppets on Saturdays from March 6-27, 2010
A Native American legend comes to life at Detroit's PuppetART puppet theater at 2 p.m. on Saturdays all month long. Starting on March 6, 2010, don't miss Turtle Island, a parable about two brothers who struggle to understand all living things are connected in the natural world. It's an especially neat experience for kids, since they'll see a unique combination of stage elements, including different types of puppets, dazzling light effects, live actors and the use of masks. Tickets are just $10 per adult and $5 per child; also, stick around for an after-show workshop, where children make puppets of their own to take home! Check out the Metro Parent Turtle Island overview, or learn more at the PuppetART website.
