Brick Bash at Skyline High School in Ann Arbor

Lego loving kids and families will enjoy a day of education and hands-on fun during this fundraiser for Skyline High School's band on March 29, 2014

Build, shop and explore at Brick Bash at Skyline High School. This one-day event –which takes place on Saturday, March 29, 2014 and acts as a fundraiser for the Skyline High School Band Program – features tons hands-on fun for Lego-loving kids and their parents.

Your tykes can create whatever they want using the hundreds of thousands of Lego, Duplo and Bionicle bricks on hand. Hobbyists will have their Lego creations on display during the day, as well. Take a peek at their handiwork – you just might be inspired to build something similar on your own!

Catch a stop-motion video made using Lego figurines, too. Interested in a bit of retail therapy? You're in luck: Vendors will be selling Lego sets, Lego-related jewelry, publications and more. If all the building and shopping leaves you feeling hungry, stop by any of the food vendors at the event.

The fun continues at 2 p.m. when the Skyline High School drum line performs for families.

This one-day shindig takes place from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Admission is $5 per person and $20 per family. Parking is free.

See the Metro Parent listing for more on the Brick Bash Lego Event at Skyline High School in Ann Arbor.
