CoverKids Search 2010

Kids all around southeast Michigan got their shot at appearing on the cover of Metro Parent on May 15-16, 2010

Over 600 kids got their chance to appear on the cover of Metro Parent magazine – or one of our fantastic ancillaries, like Metro Baby and Special Edition! The event was held at Great Lakes Crossing (great new location!) in Auburn Hills on Saturday, May 15 and Sunday, May 16.

New this year: One child received a contract from a national talent agency! At the event, random prize drawings of gifts, from Osh Kosh B'Gosh, Rain Forest Cafe, Cinnabon, Crocs Outlet, Carters, The Disney Store, and Saks Fifth OFF 5TH, were given out every hour. Attendees saw what was new in the mall with Fashion Features starring last year's CoverKids. Plus, we offered free Talent Workshops on the do's and don'ts on starting a modeling career.

Scouts from a premier talent agency in our area, specializing in kids' modeling, chose winners based on self-confidence, poise and personality. Everyone who registered received a Family Fun Pack of coupons to use at kid destinations around the region – and had a chance to win other great prizes.
