Fridge Makeover Healthy Grocery Trip

Jill Kathan of Livonia always enters contests in the hopes that she'll win. And as luck will have it, she got her wish! Kathan entered in Metro Parent's Kitchen/Pantry Makeover Contest early this year, and won a week's worth of healthy groceries at Hiller's Market in Plymouth.

With husband Gary and their 3-year-old daughter, Kelsey, Kathan roamed the store and filled up her shopping cart with health smart recommendations from storeowner Justin Hiller and Lynn Lederman, director of community services. After an hour and a half of shopping, the cart was full of nutritional choices and new items to try.

We tagged along on her free shopping spree. Check it out – and get a few healthy tips yourself!
