Music in the Park Events in Southeast Michigan

The 2014 summer concerts are in full gear. Grab the kids, blankets, favorite snacks and head to shows in Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties.

Round up your kids and load up your car: Outdoor concerts are happening all over metro Detroit. And most are free! Sing along and dance to some of your favorite tunes at a local park this summer and enjoy quality family time. Why not make a day of it? (Some venues charge a small fee for parking or admission, so don't let one penny go to waste!) So pack your sunscreen, ponchos, umbrellas, sweaters or whatever you need to spend the day appreciating music in the park.

Macomb County

Nashville comes to Macomb County this summer by way of 99.5 WYCD. Grab your cowboy boots and come to downtown Mount Clemens for a free country concert featuring some of your favorite artists, like Jason Michael Carroll, Paulina Jayne, Gunner and the Grizzly Boys and Parmalee.

Now in its 10th year, this community event packs 10 separate staged areas with lots of local talent. Offerings range from jazz, blues, Celtic rock and indie music to jugglers, clowns and 1800s-era baseball demonstrations. Stick around for PG-rated movies at dusk.

Sonic Lunch Outdoor Concerts in Ann Arbor
