St. Mary's Polish Country Fair in Orchard Lake

Spend Memorial Day weekend enjoying Polish and American foods – and family fun – at St. Mary's Prep in Orchard Lake, May 24-27, 2013

Pack up the kids and the sunscreen and head out to the 42nd annual St. Mary's Country Fair at St. Mary's Preparatory in Orchard Lake, May 24-27, 2013. Kick off Memorial Day weekend with carnival rides, bands, dancing, food and music!

The fair boasts over 45 carnival rides, with the most popular ride being the 80-foot rollercoaster. The rides are a mix of thrill rides, merry-go-rounds and an expanded Kid Zone.

Check out the kids' area, where Creative Arts Studio of Royal Oak will provide pottery painting, mosaics, wax hands and squirt the shirt. Or take your kids shopping for unique things like Polish pottery, T-shirts and other handmade goods.

Come get some authentic Polish food like pierogies or stuffed cabbage – or munch on some All-American foods like corn dogs, hamburgers or fresh baked goods. Check out the cool attractions for adults such as a Vegas tent and bingo.

This event is hosted and sponsored annually as the single largest fundraiser for St. Mary's Preparatory. The money collected during the fair is used to maintain and improve the school's campus.

The event is free, there is a $10 parking fee per vehicle. All-day ride passes are $25 at the gate. Cash only, please.

The times are as follows:

  • Friday: 5-11 p.m.
  • Saturday-Sunday: 11 a.m.-11 p.m.
  • Monday: 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
