Michigan International Women's Show in Novi

This 18th annual event brings exhibitors, famous faces and more to the Suburban Collection Showplace, May 2-5, 2013

It's all about the ladies during the 18th annual Michigan International Women's Show at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, May 2-5, 2013. Prizes, demonstrations, food and exhibitors galore come together under one roof to teach, tempt taste buds and tackle everyday issues facing women.

The event boasts hundreds of vendors such as The Home Depot, Chevrolet, Dress Barn and Essencia, as well as three different stages featuring various presentations and demonstrations, in a four-day extravaganza.

The Balancing Act Stage features Kristy Villa, from The Balancing Act on Lifetime Television. Villa offers her take on health, fashion, beauty, travel, business and all aspects of a woman's life.

The Stonebridge Kitchen & Bath Cooking Theater features demonstrations with chef instructors, organizations and southern cooking radio host Chef Lisa Lofton Shively sharing techniques, recipes and their brand of food enlightenment.

Over at the Fashion & Entertainment Stage, check out Sean Lowe from ABC's The Bachelor and Dancing with the Stars. Hear about his experiences from last season's The Bachelorette and hear how he is confident that he will find his soul mate.

Adding to the excitement, contests and giveaways take place throughout the show. So, be sure to visit the website, the event's Facebook page – and stop by exhibitors' booths for more information.

Strollers are welcome and wheelchairs are available on a first come first serve basis. With so many things to see it might be a good idea for those in need.

Additionally, concession-style food will be available for purchase, if you have room after taste testing vendor samples.
